Stop cutting costs when it comes to eating meat! ~ Tiffany Imogen #RantsforChange No. 21

Intensive farming is the most damaging industries to our environment. If you’re going to eat meat, eat it ethically says Tiffany Imogen – conservationist &  MA English student at UCL. Lack of time and money isn’t a good enough excuse. Eating meat is a privilege not a right, so purchase ‘free range’ or ‘organic’. If you’re feeling brave, why not reduce your meat consumption altogether?

Great Rant Tiffany. So many people choose to ignore the poor lives of their ‘meat’ or conveniently forget that it was once living creatures with ‘feelings.’

I have chosen a Vegan life for the last year (previously Vegetarian for 2 years) and I have had no problem leaving behind my omnivorous diet.

The key for eating any good diet, though, is not to eat junk! Most cheap meat is factory farmed and pumped full of antibiotics…it is the junk meat of the world and will ulimately deliver a whammy of ‘additives’ that could do more harm than good to anyone who eats it. Just remember if the animals have lived awful lives, that results in awful meat. Have a thought for where your food originates… You are what you eat.
